We joined friends on their boat and stayed three nights. The food at the lodge was prepared, presented along with wait staff was fantastic. Fishing guide, Scotty, made our adventure better than anticipated and make sure to schedule a jet boat ride with Manager Justin. Trish and Lou makes the experience come together through their attention to detail. Can't wait to visit again.
I cant say enough good things about Dent Island Lodge. The property and infrastructure was incredible. All the staff we encountered were friendly, happy and ready to help. Our fishing guide for the day (Herb) was an absolute legend. We caught some beautiful fish, saw lots of wildlife and had the most delicious meals I've had in a long time. I'm already planning my next trip to Dent Island Lodge. 10/10
Excellent resort to come to by boat and stay awhile. Lots of moorage for large vessels. One of a kind tidal flow area to explore or go fishing. A beautiful restaurant, and lounge to come back to and relax in the evening.
Dent Island lodge was a complete and beautiful surprise. After a scenic helicopter ride with 49 North and our excellent pilot Josh we landed on the helicopter pad at Dent Island lodge. It is a beautiful place. Modern and clean with rustic touches here and there. We had lunch at the restaurant and the food, atmosphere and excellent service were outstanding. I highly recommend it as a place to visit. We are looking forward to going again.
Justin and Trish have created a spectacular place with understated elegance letting the natural setting shine. From the moment you arrive they provide impeccable personal service while making you feel like family. Dinner at the Rapids Grill is a must and the fish and chips are the best on the planet. The setting is absolutely astounding.
This review is for their marina and facilities as we did not stay at their cabins. The lodge is set on a perfect surrounding on a secluded island where it’s only accessible by boat or float plane. We arrived by boat a few years ago and they have excellent marina and facilities. The staff is wonderful. We had spectacular dinners and breakfast at their restaurant that overlooks the water. Hot tub and sauna is located on the back side of the lodge facing the woods. We enjoyed the tranquility where you can soak up the sounds of the natural world. We’ll be returning for the 2nd time this summer and can't wait to go back.
Heaven on earth! Spectacular setting, breathtaking views and amazing food. Had dinner to celebrate our two kids wedding anniversaries and my husbands retirement after 35 years. A perfect choice! Fabulous service, the view, the food all exceeded our expectations. Yaculta dining experience was perfect! Thank you! Back here July 2024, same great experience! Enjoyed dinner at the Rapids Restaurant, as well as on the deck…fabulous!! Great staff helping on the docks, as well as the entire facility. Love the hot tub and sauna!
Oh where to start?? We took a float plane over from Campbell river to the lodge In August 2024. As soon as we landed we were met by someone that gathered our bags. Lou showed us to our room which was ready at 11:30 ! It was very spacious with a large balcony, fire place, kitchenette , and dining table. These were in the Captains cabins. The lodge is beautiful with inside or outside dining. It has incredible views. There is a resident sea lion who hangs out down below the deck along with resident eagles that fly around the lodge . The food was just incredible. The staff Kiorie, Sydney, Logan and Nicole, just to name a few were just the best. All of you were great just didn't get your name. Jason and Trish the managers have done an outstanding job. Chef David's tasting menu is incredible and is a must . Every item we Loved. Now for our guided fishing experience. WOW. Could not have asked for a greater guide or experience. Jason did such a great job matching us with Harley. Harley, your amazing, a great person , professional, and a heck of a fisherman with great stories to tell . We learned so much from you. We caught lots of fish and saw beautiful scenery and incredible wildlife. Just had the most wonderful time and can't wait to come back.
